Potato Hash: A Brunch Classic
Ingredients:
2 potatoes (diced)
1/4 of a yellow onion (chopped)
3 tbsp of vegetable oil
1 tbsp fresh rosemary
1 tbsp chili flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Pat the potatoes dry with a paper towel to make sure that it cooks better in the pan.
Heat up a medium skillet to medium heat, then add in the oil.
Add in the onion and cook until translucent, about 2 mins.
Add in the potatoes and make sure that they are spread evenly on the pan.
Leave the potatoes to brown, for about 8 mins, then flip them and cook for another 8 mins until brown crust forms. Repeat until a golden crust have formed over each piece of potato.
Add in the rosemary, chili flakes, salt and pepper then toss for about 2 mins.
Serve this for brunch with your favourite protein, or enjoy on its own!
