Sauteed Mushrooms: A Flavorful and Easy Side Dish
Ingredients:
1 pack of button mushrooms (about 200g)
4 Thai green chilis, chopped
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1/3 cup of basil, sliced
1/4 cup of cilantro, sliced
1 tsp of chili flakes
2 slices of compound butter (or 3 tbsp of regular butter)
1 cup of water
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a saute pan, melt the butter over low heat.
Increase the heat to medium and add the garlic and green chilis.
Cook for about 2 minutes, then add in the mushrooms.
Increase the heat to high and add in the water.
Cook for about 10 minutes or until the mushrooms are fully cooked through.
Add the chili flakes, cilantro, basil, salt and pepper.
