Cucumber Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cucumbers (sliced)
  • 2 stalks of cilantro (chopped)
  • 6 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 3 thai chilis (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Sichuan peppercorn
  • 2 tbsp of mild tasting oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp black vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Mix together the thai chilis, garlic and sesame seeds in a small bowl.
  2. Heat up the oil in a saucepan.
  3. Add in the peppercorns and cook for 10 seconds.
  4. Pour the hot oil into the bowl with the chili and garlic mixture.
  5. Mix in the soy sauce, black vinegar, sesame oil and salt.
  6. Pour the sauce mixture over the cucumbers and cilantro.
  7. Mix everything together and enjoy!
