Stir-Fried Beef & Celery

  • 4-6 Thai chilis, sliced
  • 4 cloves of garlic, sliced

For the beef marinade:

  • 1 egg white (save the egg yolk for another recipe!)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tbsp corn starch

Instructions:

  1. Begin by combining all of the ingredients for the beef marinade with the sliced beef. Allow it to marinate for approximately 30 minutes to fully absorb the flavors.
  2. Heat some oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the beef and cook for roughly 5 minutes or until there is no red outside. Once cooked, remove the beef from the pan and set it aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the garlic and Thai chilis and cook for about 30 seconds before adding in the celery. Cook the celery for approximately 1 minute.
  4. Add the beef back into the pan and stir-fry for an additional 3-5 minutes or until the beef is fully cooked.
  5. Plate the dish and enjoy it with a side of rice!
